Homebrewers!

As always, things are changing around the shop. Here’s a quick update on what’s been going on since the last email. We’ve been brewing, experimenting, and learning more about beer. At the end of the day that’s why we’re here, right? Our main goal is to spread the homebrewing love with you, our thirsty audience. Since our last broadcast, we’ve added some new beer toys in the shop, and now we’ve got equipment and ingredients to make your own wine and cheese. The high-gravity and brew-in-a-bag classes we had scheduled for the early part of the summer were canceled, but we’d like to reschedule them if you are still interested. Additionally, last spring we mentioned doing brewery visits/tours and this is still in the works.

On Sunday, August 18th, we’ll be doing an extract class. Our next all-grain brew class is scheduled for Sunday, September 1st. As I mentioned above, we would like to reschedule both the high-gravity and brew-in-a-bag classes, so keep an eye out for them as well. We’re also working on seminars for cheese and winemaking, kegging, and basic home draft setups.

We’re currently working on changing the pricing for our brew classes. The details haven’t been finalized yet, but they’ll definitely be more…inviting. Stay tuned.

Finally, the format of our emails will be changing somewhat. Rather than doing regular updates about classes and the goings on in the shop, we’ll be sending out tips on brewing, links to cool articles, and maybe the occasional deal for you, our loyal readers. You can expect 2-3 emails of that style per month, with 1 more covering class/shop news and updates. If you want to keep receiving these emails, awesome! You don’t need to do anything except sit back and enjoy. If you’re tired of our snarky comments and obsession with anything fermented and tasty, please click the unsubscribe button below. We hate to see you go though. We’re your biggest fans!

To recap, the times they are a-changin. Keep listening for more details and exciting things to come.

Cheers,

Mark
